ML6 x OpenAI Pioneering Intelligence event at Wintercircus Ghent

Yesterday I was at Wintercircus Ghent for the ML6 x OpenAI Pioneering Intelligence event, a short but powerful reality check on where we stand with generative AI today.

OpenAI gave a look at their coding agent Codex and new capabilities such as Connectors and AgentKit. Not long ago, I posted about why AI models still cannot simply "do things"... Well, these are exactly the components that make that step possible: not just textual answers, but extensions that actually perform actions as well.

ML6 brought that to life very concretely with demos including:

🔹 A multilingual Voice AI solution that independently calls candidates and then schedules appointments.
🔹 Unum Enterprise Superintelligence: a platform that continuously "reads along" with your organisation, detects friction in processes and generates specialised AI agents on the fly to address problems in a targeted way.

What stays with me most is the shift from today's "smart chatbot" to ecosystems of agents that support the work processes of tomorrow. That future is being built now, and it is fascinating to help shape that direction actively with AI Factory.

In any case, I went home with plenty of new inspiration: not only to further strengthen our current AI solutions, but also to prepare ourselves for the next generation of practical, high-impact AI applications.

Thanks to Laurence Vantieghem, Benjamin Praats, Arne Lieten and the entire ML6 team for the warm welcome and the fascinating afternoon!
